STYLE: Almohad | Renaissance.
FUNCTION: Sacred tower.

Originally it was conceived as a minaret of the Aljama Mosque in Seville and later as a bell tower of the cathedral.
The architectural model takes as a reference the ancient Roman lighthouses. The structure of the tower consists of load-bearing walls located on its outer perimeter and inside. These walls support the ramp that climbs to the upper level.
Among the many constructive aspects worthy of note, it is worth mentioning the successful harmonization of the exterior spaces decorated with sebka cloths, the ramp that runs inside and the outbuildings located in the central body. This uniqueness was not harmonized in any other minaret.
