The first king of Spain of the Bourbon house Philip V promoted the construction of the palace as a royal residence in 1735 AD.
The palace is built with white stone and granite, has a rectangular plan with towers on the corners and a central courtyard around which the rooms are distributed using a classic architectural language with a predominance of horizontality for its construction.
